On the right are a number of widgets. The first is obviously a search bar. It will search the contents of this blog. The second is an RSS feed. It is displaying the latest 5 links saved to Del.icio.us with the tag work “tourism-tekotago”. If you would like to add resources to this list you need to start using Del.icio.us Third in the list is the subscribe by email. I haven’t tested this widget but I think it is a handy way for people to receive updates to the blog straight to their email. And finally is the all important archive for the blog, especially important as the years go on…
Had a go at writing an about page with links to the wiki. Added the creative commons attribution and got the about page as close as possible to a copy and paste job to the other blogs. I reckon it should become more personal though, with links to the teachers profile, and contact details directly to the programme manager (which is not called the programme manager
Image sourced from flickr with a creative commons attribution. It was uploaded on the 4th of June, 2005 by alisdair. Cropped in an image editor with a new layer for the border, creative commons icons, and title bar. Was difficult finding suitable images, and making the banner work graphically while retaining the ability to edit the title. The banner image has been added to the course wiki page.
